MV Hyak
The first of the big modern ferries on Puget Sound, the Hyak went into service in July 1967, followed by her three sisters in 1968. I was in awe of the Hyak as a kid and to this day it still holds a special place. It's the only one of the four with the original 1967 interior decor which is pleasingly minimal and plain. I took this photo after an October 2008 ride on the Edmonds run.
